Nothing like two sleepin babes...

I believe, and I am sure every mother will agree, there is nothing quite like a long day of diapers and potty training, and feeding, and nursing, and cleaning that finally ends with two sleeping children, content and FINALLY with hunger satiated... It's a great feeling... Too bad it only lasts approximately an hour before I am exhausted and must join them. :)

I love my babes, but can't help look forward to the day that I can sleep from when my head hits the pillow to when my alarm wakes me in the morning with not a reason to awake through out the night...

I know the day will come :) But until that day, I will enjoy the moments when my children still need me and my dear daughter depends solely on me for sustenance... Those days are short, and I am reminded of that every day I look at my now little boy, no longer a baby, asserting his independence and learning such words as "No" and "I'm fine" when asked if he needs to use the toilet or have his diaper changed... I am hoping this most recent diaper purchase will be the last for our little boy...

Looking forward to another week, learning to juggle the needs of a newborn, a two yr old, a husband and our wonderful pup who has now dropped another rung on the totem pole, poor boy...

Here's to a week that will hopefully include:
A finished kitchen floor, a clean house and a potty trained two yr old...

Here's hoping...

I am pretty sure that my wonderful, always lovin sleep son has ended the loving phase of his sleep life... Now every nap & bedtime includes placing a screaming child into his crib, yelling "nummy, wawa, mama, dada, baby, doggie, peng(u)in, and any other word he can think of to distract me from the aforementioned task at hand...

Why is it that as soon as you get settled into a happy schedule with a content child, that at that very moment they decide they no longer like it...

Oh, and let's not even get started with night time..

8:30- put in bed... screaming
8:35- get water... screaming
8:40-9:05PM... screaming... and THEN finally asleep
1:58AM(yes, I looked straight at the clock) screaming, asking for molly, NOT mommy...
2:45AM still screaming.. and quiet...
3:00AM screaming again... needing bankie and binky and wawa(possibly manipulating me)
3:15AM finally asleep
5:00AM awake.. I give up and he sleeps in our bed out like a light until 7:45...

naptime... kicking as I put him in his crib... screaming for 15 minutes...

Well, that's what this family is dealing with at the moment...

But, if that's the worst of our troubles. Hallelujah...

I am now 19 weeks pregnant... Almost half way!!

Oh I hear my call... Molly!? what?!?!

until we meet again... Molly

Wednesday... hump day! :)

I am 9 weeks and 3 days pregnant... and already have the beginnings of a beer belly...

Things to be thankful for:

  • I havent puked in over 58 hours... definitely a feat!
  • My son slept until 7:00am AND so did I! :)
  • My wonderful husband and our personal plumber fixed our bathtub drain last night so I dont have to take a shower with water up to my knees...
  • I have the afternoon off and Treigon and I are going to hang out with Daddy! Treigon got excited when I asked him if he wanted to go see Daddy today :) Really cute...
